How much recovery time should I plan for?
Redness and swelling often decrease within the first day, but may last longer. Dryness, roughness, itching, and sensitivity can continue while your skin heals. Discuss upcoming events before scheduling. Follow your aftercare instructions and protect treated skin from the sun.
What does treatment feel like?
You may feel warmth, prickling, or discomfort. Topical numbing may be used, and protective eyewear is required. Active treatment often takes about 15–20 minutes; allow additional time for consultation and preparation.
When will I see results, and how many sessions will I need?

Mention melasma, rosacea, cold sores, active skin conditions, unusual scarring, and all medicines, including retinoids and isotretinoin. These can affect suitability or timing. Do not stop prescribed medication without medical guidance.
What are the risks?
Temporary redness, swelling, dryness, sensitivity, and discomfort can occur. Less common risks include pigment changes, infection, prolonged redness, and scarring. Pinpoint bleeding is also possible. Your provider will review your individual risks and explain when to contact the clinic during recovery.
