Do I need a separate consultation?
You can book a BELA MD+ treatment directly with Jenna. Your appointment begins with a skin assessment to confirm suitability and select the appropriate steps. Treatment may be adjusted or postponed if needed.
How is BELA MD+ different from a Clinical Facial?
BELA MD+ uses a treatment platform for selected cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and serum delivery steps. A Clinical Facial is primarily hands on and may include extractions, masks, massage, and calming care. Both are customized with Jenna.
Which treatment steps might be used?
The platform offers 6 treatment options. Jenna selects those suited to your skin; every visit does not need all 6.
- Dry microdermabrasion: A diamond tip exfoliates the superficial skin surface.
- Hydrogen water infusion: Hydrogen rich water is infused as an available treatment step.
- Ultrasonic skin scrubber: Ultrasonic waves help loosen surface oil and debris.
- Microcurrent stimulation: Massage and electrical pulses stimulate muscle contraction.
- Serum infusion: A topical bio infusion serum is selected for your treatment goal.
- Electroporation: An electrical field supports delivery of the selected topical serum.
Should I expect downtime?
Most people can return to normal activities immediately. Temporary redness, stinging, irritation, tightness, dryness, or sensitivity can occur depending on the treatment steps and your skin. Jenna will explain aftercare for your visit.
What should I tell Jenna before treatment?
Share any pregnancy or nursing, active irritation, rashes or infections, open skin, cold sores, implanted electronic devices, medications, or recent injections or skin procedures. These may affect which steps are appropriate or whether treatment should be postponed.
Is BELA MD+ covered by insurance?
BELA MD+ is an elective self pay service and is not billed to insurance.
