Meet the Team
Dermatologist
Dr. Allison Weiffenbach
Dr. Allison Weiffenbach is a board-certified dermatologist with a strong academic and clinical background. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston College, followed by her medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Weiffenbach completed her internship and dermatology residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, where she also served as a Faculty Attending.
She is an active member of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Director of Practice Operations
Emily Marlar
Emily joined Cortina Dermatology Group in 2024 as the Director of Practice Operations. She is a seasoned dermatology administrator with over eight years of experience managing a high-volume dermatology practice, specializing in enhanced patient experience, staff engagement, and billing and industry compliance. Emily received her bachelor’s from Western Governors University.
During her downtime, Emily enjoys watching Bravo and the Tennessee Vols, spending time with her feisty dog, Aerial and going to Orangetheory. Go Vols!
Licensed Aesthetician
Kelsie Powell
Kelsie moved to Nashville in 2012 to attend aesthetics school, and has been deeply immersed in the skincare world ever since. With experience across retail, medical, holistic aesthetics. In a clinical dermatology setting, she specializes in treating skin dysfunctions by combining evidence-based treatments with a gentle, supportive touch. her goal is to complement medical care with customized facials that are both results-driven and restorative. Helping each patient feel confident and cared for at every step.
When she's not in the treatment room, you’ll find her hanging out with her sweet dog Lola, baking sourdough bread, spending time with friends, or soaking up the sun near any body of water.
Physician Assistant
Ragan Lowe
Ragan is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Nashville native who is thrilled to be serving patients in her hometown. Ragan graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences along with a minor in Spanish. During her time at Auburn, she served as an academic coach and mentor for the Honors College. She also completed a medical internship while studying abroad in Spain, combining her passions for medicine and Spanish.
Ragan earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies along with a Class Honor Award from Samford University. She is an active member in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

As a front office coordinator, Lillian takes pride in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for every patient. With a strong passion for the medical field and a deep appreciation for compassionate care, she strives to support both our patients and clinical team every day.
She enjoys being part of a practice that helps people feel confident in their skin.
